With the addition of Worldwide Coverage to your plan, Neptune Society will expand your coverage area beyond the 75-mile radius of our local offices. We will make arrangements to have your body cremated locally wherever you die and we will follow your wishes for final disposition.
The consequences of overlooking Worldwide Coverage can be expensive. If you die in California outside a 75-mile radius of our local offices, there may be additional fees for transportation. If you pass away in another state or country your pre-paid contract is no longer guaranteed and your family will incur additional expenses for transportation and crematory services.
Neptune Society’s Worldwide Coverage was invaluable in this recent situation:
- A teacher from Irvine was traveling to Rome and died in an auto accident. The surviving family was notified and they called the 24 hour phone number on his emergency alert card. The cremation took place in Rome. The mans survivors were grateful that Neptune Society had taken care of all the cremation arrangements in Rome. They were also relieved to learn there were no additional fees for this service.
